Dear Pre-K Parents,

October has been lots of fun, so far.  Last week, the children were very excited when the fire fighters spoke to them and let each child climb into the truck.  This week those who participated in the Walk-A-Thon had lots of fun. The children were very interested when we carved a pumpkin and scooped out the inside.  They had many things to say about how the pulp looked, smelled and felt.  Most of the children are very excited about dressing up for Halloween, next week.
On Monday, October 31st, we will celebrate Halloween by wearing costumes and walking in a small parade to show off our costumes to the older children and teachers.  Our parade will be followed by a small party in the classroom.  Parents are invited to attend the short parade that will take place at approximately 12:30, on the playground, weather permitting.
The children may bring their costumes to school, in a bag clearly labeled with his or her name on October 31st.   Girls should wear the navy blue sweatpants, white school shirt and sweatshirt if they have them, instead of the red dress. The costumes will be put on over uniforms.
Costumes should not be scary.  Your child's costume may not have weapons.  Children must wear sneakers.
Please check back each week for our updated Announcement Page.  We will try to make any announcements by Sunday evening.

Thank you for all of your support!
