Grade 8 (Grade 4-8 Math)

Hello My Name Is...

Ms. Cardoso

My educational career spans over 14 years, beginning in public High School mathematics. I have spent the last twelve years as an educator for the Diocese of Bridgeport.

I have chosen to teach in a faith based Catholic school for a number of reasons.  First and foremost a Catholic education has been rooted in my family.  When I was a young child I attended a Diocesan school and has always felt the background was one that prepared me for the future.  In my own words: “I am a educator who believes in every child achieving and striving for success to the best of their abilities.  Students are never pushed as much until the limits of their abilities are tested.  I truly believe that every child is an individual with different needs and learning styles.”   I have stated on a number of occasions that her ideal aspiration as an educator is “to make a difference in each students life while, allowing students to strive for high expectations for themselves.  I have this underlying primary goal for each student and it is to value themselves and their work.  I have been currently blessed these past four years to be an educator at St. Ann Academy.”
