Extended Day Care

Extended Day Program
Hours: 2:00 - 5:30 p.m.

The Extended Day Program begins the 1st FULL WEEK of school. This program is staffed by St. Ann Teachers and Teacher Assistants. Occasionally there are days when the program is not available because the faculty and staff are required to be at a meeting. These are noted on the school calendar.

In Extended Day the first hour for students in grades 2 - 5 is designated for quiet homework time (or read a book if there’s no homework), followed by snack and activity/play time until students are picked up. The first two hours for middle school children is quiet homework time. For younger children, there is snack time followed by activity/play time. Activities include games, free play, and arts and crafts.

Parents of children with medical issues should seriously consider supplying the school with an extra set of medications that will be kept in close proximity to the Extended Day Program.

NOTE: The Extended Day Program is NOT available on days where an early dismissal is announced (typically for inclement weather).
