Catholic Academy of Bridgeport

The Catholic Academy of Bridgeport is a welcoming community comprising four different schools or academies: St. Andrew (PreK–8), St. Ann (PreK–8), St. Raphael (PreK–3) and St. Augustine (Grade 4–8). Serving nearly 1,000 students throughout the city of Bridgeport, the Catholic Academy schools provide a Christ-centered, academically rigorous learning environment where cultural diversity is welcomed and celebrated.

Since the late 1880s our schools have educated generations of students eager to learn and live responsible, disciplined and purposeful lives. Catholic Academy of Bridgeport students are nurtured, encouraged and challenged in preparation for a successful life of leadership and service. With 100% of our graduating 8th graders attending high school and 95% going on to college, we are proud to continue this tradition of excellence.

Each of our schools is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and the school-wide curriculum aligns with both the Diocese of Bridgeport and the Connecticut State Standards. Religion classes are held daily in every grade, Pre-K through 8, and students attend Mass several times each month.. With a mix of 65% Roman Catholic and 35% non-Catholic students, we embrace all faiths while maintaining our Catholic traditions.
